Echizen Washi

After reading sutra we listened to the monk's story, then they were served sweets...

Then the monk asked one of the kid, ` Why do we make a prayer before and after eating, I-ta-da-ki-ma-su and Go-chi-so-sa-ma-de-shi ta ?

The twelve year old boy answered, ` Because our life is supported by each life of food, so chanting it we appreciate that they serve their own life to support us. `

......... it's a really pitty that I couldn't take a good photo of them. My aunt gave me her good camera and now I've just started using it and don't know well how to use well.. One of my dream is to publish a book about Echizen in English with my photos of the village and the artisans. I hope I can make it some day in the future.
