They practice reading sutra sitting in a way called ` za-zen `.

I did kendo, one of the martial art in Japan, for long years when I was a kid, so I don't feel it very hard to sit like that. But recently most of the kids in the village don't sit like this in their daily life, so it's not easy for them to keep it for a long time.
