Shiki-shi is a square piece of thick paper, which is often usted to write a poem or to paint a picture on ( according to my dictionary in my mobile ! ). I would add ` used in Japan `, though : ) . .... Do you use them often as we do ?

Anyway, some paper studios in Echizen Washi produce special Shikishi paper with the next year animal, dragon.
