Learning Woodblock Printing 2011.08.24

Since last month I've been learning `woodblock printings` officially in Ishikawa prefecture, two hours driving from here. It's my first time to try to print using different colours at a time. The one in the second picture is my first trial. Mr. Tsukamoto, the teacher, is in the first one.

Every time I decide to learn something, it doesn't last afterwards, because I don't really like to be advised how I should paint or create. So no expectation, besides, two hour driving ! But my main purpose is to tell people how Echizen Washi should be used for painting or printing. It should take a long time before I become a great artist, but I've been looking for the chance. Please wait !
