Echizen Washi

Let me talk about this studio for a while.

Mr.Yamaguchi is one of the papermakers in Echizen Washi Village ( thought there's many Yamaguchi in the village because yama means mountain in Japan.... ). My friend from Tokyo used to work for the studio, but after she left I didn't communicate with the owner as often as before. 

But recently they gave me a contact and said maybe we could work together to promote Echizen Washi better in abraod. So I was allowed to take some photos of the studio and heard some stories from them. But of course, I need to visit there more to understand their love for paper.

I'd like to tell you some of the stories here later on....
