Echizen Washi

On Jyly 7th, we celebrate ` the Start Festival ` , which is based on one of the Chinese legendary stories saying a male and a female star can meet once a year on that day after somewhat punishment they had to get. So, it relates to the romance and some couples decide the date for their wedding, but I have a different idea, though...

Anyways it used to be on the date in the lunar calendar, which should be some time in August in the calendar nowadays so that it won't be in the rainy season to watch stars.

Here in Washi Village,  we celebrate in August and those works will be decorated next month after judged.
