Brown rice, a raw egg and pickled vegetables.....
Every time I have a raw egg with rice, which is called ` Egg Rice ` literally in Japanese, I remember when I was in China at a Japanese restarurant with my Kendo members after our practice.
We were having Sukiyaki with raw eggs, then my Suisse teacher said ` It should be OK even in China if you don't touch the outside of your egg. ` or something. At that time I was often told by Chinese people that Japanese food had no taste at all and that Chinese food was much better than Japanese food with various kinds of technique using lots of spices.....
Japanese food could be very strange to some foreigners.
