After he came back from Kyoto to start his own shop, he married his wife. The first few years it was difficult for them to sell their senbei. But soon after they didn't have to visit some places to sell but just concentrated on making cookies because customers started buying for themselves.
His wife was very charming to tell me many things about the couple's history. I was feeling very comfortable to watch them making cookies.
