We have very beautiful beaches along Japan Sea in Fukui. I brought up in Aichi prefecture when I was little and I remembered the Pasific Ocean was not really clean for swimming.... though my borther enjoy surfing there.
You know what ? There is nothing special in Fukui and Fukui is not a rich area, but you can enjoy its nature for paying nothing, which is why we don't really earn much money from what we have. It is worth visiting !
You can see how it is clean. My hand is in the water !!!
