Guardian Angel Inshrined Upper River ( 3 )2012.08.06

In front of him, there is a beautiful waterfall. The river flooded this time is coming from here and the water is used for papermaking.

Every time we have natural disasters, I think we have to reconsider what provides us with those resourses. Human beings should not be arrogant to use nature...

I told one eldery woman about this story, but she just told me not to tell people around just as if I were a great person who do a good thing. This is what I always get tired of hearing in Japan.

Perhaps Christian people won't understand this idea, but praying for nature is based on our Shinto idea.

Few people know about the guardian angel is inshrined there, and  I think there must be some reason why the people in the old times decided to inshrine him. All I hope is that people start thinking about the meaning of him.

Am I strange ? Maybe. But I believe in nature.
