The both sides of the tori-i, the red entrance gate for shrines( see in the lower middle of the picture ... hopefully you can find it ! ), stand two gingko trees.

Someone once told me that gingko trees hold lots of water in their roots. For that reason some people like to have them for preventing a fire.

I enjoy the colors of the leaves every season. Now tiny little leaves are growing!
