Another Noh in Ikeda2016.02.21
Another noh was held today. It was more professional one whereas I had enjoyed the amateurs' last time.
When I was a child, noh was something that would make you very sleepy. Not cheerful and boring. Also the masks looked very scary. I remember my old neighbor in Aichi had several masks for noh and I felt frightened when I had to pass through the hall way feeling the faces were watching me.
Maybe I'm getting older enough to accept more Japanese cultures and traditions. Their beautiful costumes also attracted me a lot.
