I didn't know this name in English ! Well, it's not easy to remember it for me. It's Aji-sa-i in Japanese.
Using the paper from Sho-Hachi, which is made of hemp, it's my first trial ( photo 1 ) to paint Hydrangeas I took from the mountain.
Something is not right. Too much in detail to me...
So I tried another one ( photo 2 ) to have less lines with many changes in ink itself.
Then I started thinking maybe this paper is only for drawing lines... Long fibers help ink spread all at once. Maybe !
