I tried to use Echizen washi, but as you can see on the second photo, ink doesn't have a good recult in the end. I think 100% Kozo paper is not really good for ink work if you want to see your strokes on your paintings. I used Ichibei's, Living National Treasure, for all my three paintings ( both sides have a shrimp ), but I have to admid Chinese paper is so good for ink work ( see the left one on the first photo ).
