Echizen Washi

What  a coincidence ! 

Right after I brought my paper back home from Udatsu Museum, my friend, whose father is a main tool maker for papermaking, came to visit me with piles of wood in his arms. He remembered I wanted to have some for curving. Those were leftovers from his job, but very nice of him to bring them all over to my place.

So why not trying my paper.... ?

I was so tired and was also going to have some students coming over soon to study with me, but I believe in signs ! Well, signs based on your selfish idea, I can tell. 

Here it is ! ..... My neighbor pealing potatoes.....

The paper still looks good. But I shouldn't hesitate to use my precious papers even though I know I will damage them. If I don't use, I won't know the quality......
