Drying Paper Outside2014.09.13
When I was heading to Ichibei Iwano's, I found an artisan was drying her paper outside of the studio. It's become really rare to see anymore because most of the case they dry inside in a special room.
She was explaining about their papermaking history. I was glad to hear her story because I had known her for years but nothing special to talk to.
Her parents also made paper only using Japanese kozo. There seem to be so many kinds of paper I should try.... !
