An American couple visited me the other day. They own a travel agency in US and he has been visiting Japan since 1972. But it was his first time to visit Fukui Prefecture...... ! wow.....
The sea coast side along the Japan Sea is totally forgotten by the Japanese government, that's what I always feel. They only think about the other side along the Pasifis Ocean, Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. We don't have Shinkansen in Fukui yet, but the government is even planning maglev trains running between Tokyo and Nagoya. I can't believe it.....
We have lots of delicious food in the areas on the side of Japan Sea, good water and good fish.
Well, I don't think it is always good to become so popular to attract visitors, but I just feel sad to be neglected.
