A famous Kanji doctor, Sizuka SHIRAKAWA, was born in Fukui. He passed away a few years ago and I remember when I went to listen to his lecture several years ago.
So because of his work, Fukui tries to have a good educational system for teaching kanji and made a book for kids. Each grade can have a book, so there are six books. Recently I found them at a book store and bought to learn for myself.
