Drying it with tatami mat.

Tatami mat is made of rush. My neighbor was going to throw some tatamis away which looked really clean. so I asked him to give them to me.

Why did I need the mats ?

One night when I was sleeping a few years ago, I noticed the room was filled with smoke. I woke up hearing some strange sound. It was a small fire !

My handmade paper lampshade was fallen down and the heat from the bulb was hot enough to burn tatami mat. It's very difficult to explain the situation.... anyway I was safe and fell asleep right away after extinguishing the fire.

So that is why I needed to change the tatami mats.......  Scary story .... !?

It's better to dry before changing them. After that I carried them to the second floor ! Very heavy but I had to.
