Echizen Washi

People say to me it must be very cold in winter to make paper because of using water. 

Actually not so much. You can see my red hand in the picture and maybe it looks cold, but because we use water from well, it's much warmer than the tap water. So, I always feel cold not for hands but for my feet ! 

The last day for my papermaking in 2011 will be tomorrow at Jiyomon Paper Studio. Although the big earthquake and tsunami hit in Tohoku to have a huge damage in Japan, I had a very fruitful year for myself; meeting new people, having lots of new experiences and having learned lots of things.  I'll work very hard for my country next year, and enjoy my life as much as possible !

I owe this wonderful life to my friends and everyone I've met this year. Thank you so much and hope you'll have a good New Dragon Year 2012 !
