Echizen Washi

Usually we use some screen made of silk on the bamboo sheet called ` su `. But some customs prefer to have water marks which can tell it's handmade and has some warm feelings with the water mark.

Since yesterday I've been making this kind. `su` usually costs 300,000yen for one sheet because it is all handmade too. There is an artisan who mainly makes this `su` in this town.

I've registered as a volunteer for the areas where have the big damage from the earthquake. But the lifelines there are not ready yet and even volunteers would take the people's water or food away now,  so I have to wait to be asked for a whille..... But until then, all I can do is to keep doing my job as usual to support our country's economy somehow.
