Some people say they can't easily use the paper like that for writing a letter because they think they have to use a brush.
I show you how I write here using a fountain pen, brush pen, felt-tip pen, pencil, ball-point pen and brush pen again( starting from right side ). In a Japanese traditional way, we write up to down. Of course you can try side to side!.
