Two Kinds of Paper2010.07.12
My purpose of the trip to Hangzhou, China, was to talk with several Chinese artists about a collaboration work with Echizen Washi this year October.
I asked one Chinese ink artist to test our paper for his work.
But he said he couldn't feel content with Echizen Washi. The reason was quite obvious ; the 1st picture - Chinese one, the 2nd one - ours.
I was shocked to see the result, but this can be a great hint for our future possibilites. I do appreciate the Chinese friends for their help. Thank you.
