Go Hunting Gampi 42010.06.26
Pealing. It's very easy if you do it right after harvesting. But in harvesting you shouldn't take the root out but leave it in the ground so that you can expect new branches in the future.
Through this experience, I still thought making washi should be good for recycling, expecially for using kozo, though.
Kozo grows three meters tall every year from one root, whereas gampi takes much longer time to grow enough.
This is why gampi is very precious and expensive, but enable us to make a beautiful and shiny paper.
