Echizen Washi

 This is where I worked for more than fifteen years. The village is so beautiful. From next month my income will be only from teaching English to the local kids ( age 12 to 15 ) and selling my art. Yes, sounds not easy ! But my life is simple and if I don't get enough food, I can go to the mountain where monkeys live ! They will teach me how to survive ! Yet still I can be hard on my students. I keep telling them I won't allow them to study with me if they don't try hard. So there is a big possibility that I will let them all quit eventually and no income. And, as I tell them, if that happens I will go traveling with my sketch books. Money can't ever make me fully content. We'll see.... Or I should say I'll see how far I can.
