Mr. Fukunishi in Yoshino2014.10.02
I didn't know that Mr. Fukunishi passed away this summer. My friends from the Netherlands told me about the news.
I met him in Tokyo when a paper conference was held several years ago. He was surrounded by many people and talked about his paper.
Then just recently I found an article about papermaking in Yoshino, and the fact that he died was mentioned there. It says he kept saying ` Paper made with local kozo and local water can be called Yoshino Washi. `
Well, what is Echizen Washi ?
We don't use local kozo very much.
I have to remember what he said.
