Thinking about Paper While Baking a Cake2014.02.14

It's Valentine's Day ! YEY. I don't like Japanese style, you know, ; women give chocolates to the men they like, or, care for. Recently we even give to our friends or bosses or collegues. So I baked a cake this morning for my bosses and collegues.

It's a very simple cake and I've been making this for years because people request the same one. The simpliest is the best, I guess....

I use brown sugar, which is much more expensive than white sugar, and it's healthy to have. BUT it doesn't look nice because you cannot see clear black and white marbling....

Then I thought of bleached paper. Using bleach is not good for fiber, but it makes paper clean white and for some artists that is very important to show their works well. I have to understand that and I shouldn't always recommend naturally white paper without using any chemical products only because it's good for paper.

Marbling design didn't go well today, but I cared for the process how to mix eggs and butter, so it was ok for how it tastes.

Appearance or quality .... that is the question. ( Hope you understand my English ! )
