My neighbor also wakes up about the same time. It would be difficult for you to accept we live close enough to hear some sound each other. Of course city people in Japan don't like this life style very much and try to have their own space in private. But here in the country side if the houses are very traditional, we share noise together, which I love very much !
Anyway, I can tell when my neighbor wake up and so can they.
After my walking, I visited my neighbor, which was at before 6:00am !! and she was harvesting her sweet vegetables.
