Echizen Washi

Weather forecast makes an annoucement in Japan and says, ` Now we are in the rainy season ! ` But of course, our country is long from south to north, so each region has different climate and recently Fukui, our area, was said to be in the season.

It's not bad to spend this rainy season in Fukui, because it doesn't rain so much but just cloudy. When I was in Aichi until age 8 and in Osaka for the university, it rained so heavily all day every day. But as a child I played outside with umbrellas to make a house with friends on the road.  And I often broke umbrellas.... not intentionally but because I played with them...

Anyways, here you can enjoy watching the clouds in the sky. They're so dramatic.
