These special leaves have very nice smell. I picked them in the nature the other day.

My parents are baby-boomers after the world war, the generations who are often said to be the one that got influenced by new ideas, Western cultures and started living in big cities having left their own birth place. So, I think I could say that is why my parents didn't offer me very Japanese life style. Then that caused me to seek for the Japanese traditions. Do you understand my English ? I hope so.

Anyways, I didn't know this kind of food very much before I came to the village in 2000. Since then, every time this season comes, I am longing for the chance to have one !

My father doesn't like it because eating soy bean powder reminds him of his poverty in the childhood.

Culture and food, and many things have related to how you grow up !

This is really interesting.

( How you make : Rap hot rice and the powder with sugar together and steam it. )
