Japan is a long long island from the north ( Hokkaido ) to the south ( Okinawa ), so you can enjoy the time lag to see cherry blossoms. They bloom all at once, but because of the differences in tempreture in Japan, some people travel Japan chacing the cherry trees.
Here in Echizen, they are all fully blooming whereas the ones in Fukui city are almost over.
