Buddha's Birthday - April 8th2012.04.09
It is said to be on April 8th in the lunar calendar when Buddha was born. In the village at En-jyo-ji Temple there was a celebration for his birth. Kids and local people got together and sang Buddhism songs. I was listening to them outside and took a picture of the white elephant .... which I don't know what it is for..... but it's often seen in Buddhism stories.
