When I was on my way home for lunch after papermaking, I saw my neighbor shoveling off the snow.
Look at her feet ! She tighted a string made from straw on the rubber boots, which she told me was to prevent her from slipping. It's very simple, but it's surely a wit (?).
On our conversation she started talking about a photo of her dog that I took for her. In return I received her handmade sticky rice ball, mochi with mountain vegetable called ` yomogi ` ( sorry I don't have a dictionary to check it in English... )
