Thinking about The Natural Resourses2012.01.20

photo01

In Fukui prefecture, which Echizen Washi Village belongs to, there're fourteen nuclear power plants at our beautiful sea side. Some of them haven't been used after the huge earthquake and tsunami last year May 11th. But the government are now trying to use them again without our citizens' agreement.

In my opinion, we should find a way to use our natural wood more. Japan is under its own unique conditions for the natural resourses. Although we have little gas or oil,  there're plenty of water and mountains with trees in our land. Do you know that 67% of our land is all the moutains ? So,  what I personally try to do is to make the wood supply more usuful.

It's much warmer than the fire from oil, but the problem is that it would cause a fire. I have less knowledge how to use this stove well ! because people don't really use them. As I learned before, cutting wood won't cause the environmental issues, but we need to go into the mountains and take care of them.

Hopefully you can understand my poor English....
