Echizen Washi

This area is also well kwon for its fabric industry. A fabric goddess ( we have paper goddess ! ) is inshrined in Kudashi. I believe those are introduced by Korean people about 1500 years ago including nives, potteries and lacqureware to this area.

A person who used to manage a fabric factory once gave me lots of leftovers, which were used as a posquito net. I rather use them for my windows.

We've been talking how we can spend this summer with less energy especially because of the huge damage from the earthquake, but at the moment I don't need any fans or AC but natural wind ! I like survival life style to enjoy my challenge.
