Carrying Mikoshi around the Villages2010.05.07

On the final day, they carry Mikoshi, the portable shrine, around the five villages, Sadatomo - Shinzaike - Oizu - Iwamoto - Otaki, where have a long history of papermaking, so that the goddess and gods can say good-bye to the local people.

I don't know why but, even though the men are all middle aged,  they look handsome! and cool while carrying the heavy mikoshi .....only during this time...  ( excuse me! )
