I went up to the mountains in Otaki with Fusae-san, 82, the paper mother in Jiyomon Paper Studio.
We pray for gods before and after the harvesting, feeling grateful for the `food`. Look at the cute statue in the picture! .... there is a rice ball in front of him, `onigiri` in Japanese, which is made by Fusae-san.
Watching me climbing along the uphills, she always remember her younger days and looks very happy. We LOVE mountains! YEY
